The Lamborghini Huracan GT3
has made its world premiere at the brand's headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.
Underneath is the same 5.2-litre V10 engine as in the road car, with a Bosch ECU managing the traction control, gearbox and TFT dashboard display. It's got race-spec wiring throughout, a six-speed gearbox, three-disc racing clutch, and of course, rear-wheel-drive. No word on power output, but the Super Trofeo pumps out around 611bhp.
There's a better gearbox and engine oil cooler, a carbon seat, OMP fire extinguisher, a roof hatch - should medical personnel need quick access to the cockpit - adjustable pedals and a multifunction steering wheel.
Stopping power comes from 6 pot 380x34 mm steel discs at the front and 4 pot 355x32mm steel discs at the back, equipped with Bosch ABS
. The Huracan GT3 gets 315/680 tyres at the front and 325/705 at the back. The car also comes equipped with a pneumatic lifting system.
In Europe, the Huracán GT3 is priced at €369,000 (Nearly Rs 2.64 Crore).
