Stunning New Audi TT Coupe 2015

Audi has taken the wraps off stunning New TT 2015 which now also comes with a TTS version that churns out 310 BHP. Some other highlights new Audi TT includes:

> Aggressive new exterior and interior design

> The rear spoiler deploys at speed above 121 Kph

> The car is now 20 Kgs lighter with a curb weight of 1230 Kgs

> New model is 20mm smaller than predecessor but has 37mm more wheelbase

> Similarly, boot space has been increased by 13 liters. Translating into total 305 liters space

Engines:

2.0 TFSi:

> 4 cylinders, 230 BHP and 370 NM Torque.

> 0 – 100 Kph: 6 seconds. Top speed: 250 Kph.

2.0 TFSi:

> 4 cylinders, 310 BHP and 380 NM Torque

> 0 – 100 Kph: 4.7 seconds. Top speed: 250 Kph

2.0 TDI:

> 4 cylinders, 184 BHP and 380 NM Torque

> 0 – 100 Kph: 7.2 seconds. Top speed: 235 Kph

Gearbox:

> 6 speed manual

> S-Tronic automatic

Audi has now announced the UK price of Indian-bound TT Coupe:

> Base: £29,770 (INR 30,72,436)

> S-Line: £32,320 (INR 33,37,785)

Update

Audi's new TT has landed in India and since the same is built in a MQB platform it is expected to be lighter than the out-going model. The new TT will be sold in India as CBU (Completely Built Unit) and since the it has been imported here therefore, the launch is expected to take place in next 2-3 months itself as Audi plans to launch it in 1st half of this year itself.

The Launch of the new Audi TT will be held in India on April 23 2015. The only variant that would be available for us is the 45TSI. The new TT shall come as CBU (Completely Built Unit).

The 2015 Audi TT coupé wears an all-new design inspired from the Audi R8, giving it a more aggressive and unisex stance than the outgoing model. The new Audi TT is marginally longer in length and has a longer wheelbase as well. The 2015 model is about 50 to 70kg lighter than its predecessor and is based on the MQB platform.

WOWZA! That thing looks AWESOME! Man this has to be one of the best looking Audi's! Well, the engine isn't really that great and a person spending so much would expect more performance. The car basically a 328i underneath. I think even that would be this in a drag! Well I always like it whenever I see a TT on our roads. Lets hope this one sells better.

Interiors are amazing and refreshing, the diesel version of the engine has low bhp though. I feel the power is not enough, reduction in the weight will help to increase fuel efficiency and larger wheelbase will provide more stability.
