Honda previewed their all new Direct-injection gas engine which will power the up coming Jazz and City,and knowing Honda this Engine will surely make it's way to our market powering their next gen compact car's.

The new engine is part of Honda's Earth Dreams initiative for lower fuel consumption, and in addition to direct injection it employs a high-tumble port, low-tension piston rings, patterned piston coating, mass EGR, and a two-stage relief oil pump. There's also engine idle-stop,

NO doubt Honda is good at engineering , but in the name of quality and fuel economy they tend to extract a huge premium from end user unlike Suzuki or Tata.

Very true, even Suzuki is at par in engineering a small capacity gasoline engine but they also follow value pricing strategy unlike Honda.
