Offtopic: S+S(Turbo) matches good.

| Re: Your Personal Mobile Handset? Yeah sure man there you go with the pics
Samsung Galaxy S the old one is going to India, dad is using Samsung galaxy FIt I told dad to get rid of it and then you can have this one (galaxy S)
S3 has so many good things man
I did consider HTC X one but goto gsmarena and compare these two phones , you will see S3 is much better. Short Review of Samsung Galaxy S III: When I think of an android phone , I think of mine Android Galaxy S with rooted firmware and you name it what you can;t do with this.
So I went to the store if the Galaxy S3 was out ? and he goes yes we have them in Stock !
I just bought it anyways without even thinking why do I need a new one.
Then Features it has are really good.
NFC- Near field communication
S beam
4.8" Amoled Screen (much sharper then other phones out there)
What I felt best was the eye detection feature, this phone scans your eyes and if your looking at the phone (Say reading something on phone ) the phone's screen won't turn off , the moment you turn your eyes off the phone it turns off (batt saver) . I found it pretty useful.
Drop Box - 50 GB online data storage you get with this which is good.
Streaming videos to LCD using allshare or you can get a dongle to do that, thats useful for me
Notification light, you can change the notification lights. say your chat on whatsapp , if you get a mesage on whatsapp you can give the LED a Green/cyan/orange/blue or purple color , messages have their own and miss calls as well. I think this is pretty useful.
Front facing camera is HD , I talk to my parents overseas using skype on fone and now they can view me via HD camera thats another useful feature. Widgets, there is just no end to the widgets screen you can just keep adding .
Screen unlock by Face recognition. and S-voice will do what you want to do.
Speak up " Call SAM " he will do it for you..
Yesterday I said a command - Open canibeat and it did
There are yet to discover some more features. I will keep you posted
P.S - Photos aren't as good because my DSLR is with my brother he went to indian wedding interstate |

| Re: Your Personal Mobile Handset? Nice review Codename. I know this is better than One X. About the screen you told, I heard that this one does not come with a Plus panel while it does with IPS or something and it is slightly less sharper than S2. I would like to know about the battery and performance after some heavy use. |

| Re: Your Personal Mobile Handset? Edios- I doubt it if you can , may be Rooted firmware can do that. I have a Galaxy S with Doc master's ICS on it and you can overclock the CPU in that . Don't know if you can do that with this one.
@ Shubham - Build quality is pretty good to be honest, it feels so good to hold this phone in the the hand it may look very big but easy to fit in the palm.
Front has a gorilla glass and rear has a plastic which looks bit cheap but not to forget its coated with some material to give a resistance for scratches.
NOTE vs S3 is a different thing man. Note is a dual core small TAB sort of whereas S3 is a quad core processor with NFC/Sbeam/Allshare play etc etc |

| Re: Your Personal Mobile Handset? another Short review on features So Galaxy SIII:
I just tried sending a Big file (136 MB Video song) to my mate's Samsung galaxy S3 as he got it today . I used WIFI Direct to send the file and when you turn the WIFI direct on the phone shows WIFI connectivity and the files gets sent to another phone at high speed.
136 MB file took just over a Minute which is awesome
Also Tried - Tap to send over S beam, you can tap to send files - photos, songs and even the web browser page your looking at. |

Its bl**dy awesome phone. Note is also great but just too big to handle (save for giant hands). |
