Priced at Rs 9,999, the smartphone will face fierce competition from the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (16GB), LeEco Le 1s and Lenovo K4 Note. We compared all these smartphones based on their price, specifications and features. Read on to find out how they fare.

Price: Meizu has introduced the 32GB storage variant with 3GB of RAM in India. Priced at Rs 9,999,the smartphone will go on sale starting May 31, exclusively on Amazon India. The Redmi Note 3, with 16GB storage and 2GB of RAM is priced at Rs 9,999 and available via weekly sales on Xiaomi’s website and on Amazon India. The Le 1s is priced at Rs 10,999 and available exclusively via Flipkart, while the Lenovo K4 Note will set you back by Rs 11,999 and can be purchased exclusively on Amazon India.

Display, processor and RAM: All four smartphones come equipped with a 5.5-inch full HD display. While the Le 1s and m3 Note can offer maximum brightness of 450 nits, the K4 Note has maximum brightness of 500 nits. The Redmi Note 3, on the other hand, comes with a “sunlight display,” wherein the display contrast and brightness automatically changes based on the ambient light.

On the hardware front, the Meizu m3 Note runs a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU and the Redmi Note 3 (16GB variant) runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 hexa-core chipset, with a setup that includes two Cortex-A72 cores and four A53 cores paired with 2GB of RAM.

Lenovo’s K4 Note is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, which is paired *with a Mali T720-MP3 GPU and 3GB of RAM, whereas the Le 1s runs on MediaTek’s 2.2GHz Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage.

Storage: The m3 Note comes with 32GB storage, whereas the Redmi Note 3 and the K4 Note comes with 16GB onboard storage. All three smartphones come with an expandable storage via microSD card option. The Le 1s, on the other hand, comes with 32GB onboard storage, but misses out on expandable storage option.

Camera: Meizu has equipped the m3 Note with a 13-megapixel rear camera of aperture f/2.2 along with dual tone dual-LED flash. While the Redmi Note 3 features a 16-megpaixel rear snapper with PDAF, the Le 1s and K4 Note features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. LeEco has also added the ability to record 4K videos on the Le 1s. Up front, all four smartphones come equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Battery: The m3 Note and Redmi Note 3 are equipped with a 4,100mAh and 4,000mAh non-removable batteries respectively. The Le 1s and the K4 Note, on the other hand, comes equipped with a 3,000mAh and 3,300mAh batteries respectively.

The Le 1s and Redmi Note 3 also include VoLTE support. Also, while Le 1s gets the new USB Type-C connectivity port, others include a microUSB port. In terms of software, all smartphones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based custom UI from respective manufacturers. Meizu has its Flyme OS, Xiaomi has MIUI 7, Lenovo has Vibe UI whereas LeEco offers EUI.

Miscellaneous features: While the Redmi Note 3, m3 Note and Le 1s come with metal unibody design, the K4 Note comes with metal frame and removable plastic back. Also, while m3 Note has a fingerprint scanner embedded inside the home button, the rest have them on the back, just below the camera module.

Lenovo has also equipped the K4 Note with dual-frontal speakers and Dolby ATMOS audio support. It also includes support for ‘TheaterMax’ VR technology, which lets you use an ANTVR headset and watch any game or video in immersive large screen experience. The headset needs to be purchased separately from Amazon India, and will set you back by Rs 1,299.

On paper, all four smartphones are closely matched, but if we look from price point, the m3 Note seems like a tough competitor to the Redmi Note 3. The K4 Note appears to be the weakest in the set. The LeEco 1s has good specifications but during our usage we found its battery performance to be sub-par. However, we will reserve our judgment until we review all four devices.

Re: Meizu m3 Note vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs LeEco Le 1s vs Lenovo K4 Note..

You must compare Redmi Note 3 32GB Variant not 16GB variant .The price of 32 GB version is 11,999. Having three of the above said phones with me,I would say there is no competitor for Redmi Note 3 32GB 3GB ,which also have an expandable memory slot unlike Le 1s.
