InFocus Bingo 50 was launched in India few days back at Rs 7,499 and it has impressive specs. But it faces stiff competition the Lenovo K5 Plus which too was recently launched and is available for Rs 8,499.

So let's check out which one of these phones is better value for money device

Design & Display
The InFocus Bingo 50 has a curved body and since it is just 10.6 mm thick, 71.45 mm wide and 150.96 mm tall, it would fit nicely in hands. The Bingo 50 comes in leather black and sandstone finish. The back panel is removable. The phone has thick metal side panel.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, on the other hand, looks a bit premium with a metal body. But It also comes in three colours - Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold, and Graphite Grey. The K5 Plus measures 142 X 71 X 8.2 mm and weighs 142 grams.

Both these two smartphones come with 5 inch screen but the K5 Plus has full HD or 1920x1080 pixels resolution compared to high definition (1280x720 pixels) resolution of the InFocus Bingo 50.

Camera
A highlight of Bingo 50 is that it has 8 megapixel auto focus camera in both its front and back panels. The cameras come with F2.2 aperture and HDR. They can record full HD videos in 30 fps. For the rear camera, there is an LED flash as well.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has a 13 megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It too has an LED flash in its rear panel. The 13 megapixel camera has HDR, Omnivision OV13850, 5 Piece Lens and F2.2 aperture while the front camera has 4 Piece Lense and F2.8 Sensor.

So while the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has a better rear camera, the Bingo 50 seems to be a better selfie phone.

Chipset and OS
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has the 1.7 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 616 processor and 2 GB RAM. The InFocus Bingo 50 has a 1.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor, Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. So even though the Lenovo phone has a better processor, with extra 1 GB RAM, the Bingo 50 looks like a much better device.

The Bingo 50 also has another plus point - its operating system. The InFocus Bingo 50 has the Android Marshmallow operating system compared to the Android Lollipop (5.1) operating system.

Memory
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has 16 GB of internal storage and it has a micro SD card slot as well using which you can add another 32 GB to its memory. The Bingo 50 too has 16 GB of internal memory but its micro SD card slot has much better 64 GB capacity.

Battery
It is quite close in this section. The Vibe K5 Plus has marginally better 2750 mAh Li-Polymer battery compared to 2500 mAh battery of Bingo 50. We though don't know their battery back up in real life usage and hence cannot comment on the same.

Other Features
Both Bingo 50 and K5 Plus have dual SIM and 4G connectivity. Both of them have WiFi (b/g/n), WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS too.

Wrapping up
The InFocus Bingo 50 is Rs 1,000 cheaper than the K5 Plus but still it offers the latest OS, higher RAM, higher expandable storage facility and even a better front camera. Its leather and sandstone finish back covers would appeal to many over the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus' metal finishing. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has its own charm. It looks like a premium smartphone, a better rear camera as well as a better display.
