The newly launched Coolpad Note 3 Lite, at only Rs 6,999, is now the cheapest fingerprint sensor phone in the market. It has recently got a competitor – the LYF Wind 6, which is priced at Rs 6,999. So let's check out which one offers the maximum value for the money.

Design
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is an exact copy of its elder sibling, albeit with smaller dimensions. It has super slim bezels on the left and right of the display, and has a copper finish metal ring around the front. It measures 140.8 x 70.4 x 89 mm and weighs 155 grams.

The LYF Wind 6 is not a phone that will attract a lot of looks. The plain black panel wraps around to the front where screen sits among average bezels. It measures 143.5 x 72.2 x 8.7 mm and tips the scales at 143 grams

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is definitely the better looking phone, and it has a fingerprint sensor on the back too!

Display
Both the phones come with 5 inch HD IPS screen. But the Coolpad Note 3 Lite's display has an additional scratch resistant glass and thus it has a slight advantage.

Processor & Memory
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite has a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, which runs with 3 GB of RAM. Its internal storage stands at 16 GB, to which you can add another 32 GB via a microSD card.

On the other hand, the LYF Wind 6 has a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 210 processor which runs with 1 GB of RAM. It offers 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 32 GB via a micro SD card.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is the clear winner, thanks to the higher storage, superior processor, and the extra 2 GB of RAM.

Software
The LYF Wind 6 runs on Android Lollipop. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite too runs on Android Lollipop, with Coolpad's Cool UI 6.0.

Battery
The LYF Wind 6 has a 2250 mAh battery, while the Coolpad Note 3 Lite has a 2500 mAh unit. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is the winner, simply due to its size.

Camera
The LYF Wind 6 has a 5 with flash, auto frame rate, red eye reduction, continuous autofocus, HDR, smile detection, panorama, and video recording. The front too has a 5 megapixel selfie taker.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite has the same camera at is larger sibling, a 13 megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0, 5P lens, face detection, HDR, CMOS sensor, flash and video recording at 1080p. The front of the Coolpad Note 3 Lite has a 5 megapixel shooter.

Spec for spec, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite is the winner.

Connectivity
The LYF Wind 6 and the Coolpad Note 3 Lite are dual-SIM phones with 4G, GPS (A-GPS), Bluetooth, and WiFi.

Wrapping up
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is the winner, because it offers a lot more at the same price. It is better looking, has a fingerprint sensor, significantly better processing ability, higher RAM and storage, a larger battery, and a better primary camera too. The LYF Wind 6 doesn't hold a candle to the Coolpad Note 3 Lite.

A 1GB RAM phone ? Is reliance living in the last century? Also verify if the phone gives VLTE,by which calls can be received even when 4G data services are on.
