Intel Core 2 Duo .Superior to my 6530b's

Altec Lansing integrated speakers
Remote Control
Philips portable speakers.
Genuine Win 7 Home Premium
Yet to install Office 2010 after clean-up.

Planning to get a Vaio Netbook.

I have an assembled '04 assembled PC with an AMD processor and Win Xp, as well as a HUGE Lenovo Laptop with a mini Dobly woofer and Vista HP.

^^Your lucky that you have a CRT monitor. I regret giving away the CRT 15" monitor that was part of the computer package we got back in 1999.

Why is that? I have 15" inch Samsung CRT monitor which is good enough but occupies loads of space on the table and so cleaning becomes a difficult job!

May vaccum cleaner does the job well.
So no problem for me.
I have Samsung 793S 17" CRT, serving me very well from past 5 years.

CRTs are becoming rarer, and are more reliable than LCDs.
but lcd consumes less power than CRT, IMO lcd are better than crt.

Nice thread. Mine is a HCL Beanstalk Desktop, I’m happy with its reliability but it is totally low on memory for requirements, which is disappointing.

GENUINE WINDOWS XP,though upgraded to windows vista
80 GB HDD


---in office environment now a days, almost everyone is getting laptop instead of desktop in their offices. laptops are really picking up its place in IT world.
