It is more than 9K difference brother. I agree to your point of 'touch & feel'. I too visit the stores and check the product. Then I will ask them for slightly higher price than online price (up to 1k). I normally show them the price of online stores in my phone. Sometimes they reduce the price and some other time they do not. That 1K is for that touch & feel + explaining about the product etc. If they do not care us, i do not even ask for their best price.
Few things I have noticed on my purchases from known stores (including ebay - may be it is just me)
The product sold in Offline stores are mostly 'old manufactured date' compared to online (Not necessarily true. But in my case, yes)
I checked in Croma and found the mfd almost 1 year old date compared to the one i got from ebay (So, i got the latest firmware along with it). May be it was costing 78K & less people buying it ? (I got it online for 61K) 16-17K discount was too tempting for me and i got the product in 20hrs (coimbatore to bangalore).
Even when I buy Himalaya products/diapers for my baby, I get 3-4 month old mfd date from nearby stores than the current month MFD from online stores like amazon/flipkart/snapdeal etc. So, why would I stay away from buying online? (atleast from reputed site)
Another one is - If you buy it from offline store and you find a problem in very next day, they will ask you to take to the customer care or say 'we will get this repaired for you'. They would not give a brand new piece. But online stores, they immediately arrange a reverse pickup and arrange a brand new replacement. If you get the problem in other products too, they will be refunding the whole amount. I can not think of an offline store who will return by money if there is a major problem. (I read in amazon review that a guy returned the balance diapers (used one or two for their kid) because he was not satisfied the product quality & amazon refunded the whole money. I would not be doing that for sure.)
<- Kind of extreme side of customer satisfaction !
So. Please take the 'risk' next time (start with reputed stores with sellers - 'amazon - fulfilled', ws retail on flipkart etc). Why give your hard earned money to someone else :)
