How To Dispose Electronic Goods?

Guy's can someone help me in disposing my old electronic junk which ranges from a decade old disc man to one non working laptop, i have read that these electronic items are harmful if disposed irrationally.

Is their any recycling organization in Bangalore who takes care of disposing these items in a eco-friendly way?

I really appreciate the concern you have for the environment. Recently I saw a article on Bangalore mirror where a startup company is collecting E-waste from doorstep.

Sometime it may be give away or else it goes to garbage collector who happly takes those items .
