I am looking forward to buy a phone. My budget is Rs 20000. The features I want
- Android v4.1
- Good RAM (1GB)
- Good Camera
- Display (can be compromised )
- Sensors like Gravity,Proximity,Magnetic
- Capable processor
- Reliable (Will use the phone for more than 2 years)
- Can handle games like N.O.V.A 3 without any lag

The phones I am considering
- Samsung Galaxy Grand
- Sony Xperia P
- Sony Xperia Ion
- HTC Desire SV

Since you are interested in apps and game, I suggest you not to go for WP8 phones.
Phones to consider:
ION
S2 Plus

Edit: ION has an outdated GPU, so unsure whether games will work fine.
Spend 1K more and get the SP at 23K from Indiatimes Shopping(pre-order) by using this coupon code: ISLCCME

That's the best you can get.

But I somehow didn't like the S2 Plus because
- No design change from S2
- Expensive than Grand (Has same features except DLNA and NFC)
- Display (Grand's display seemed better to me)
- Battery of S2+ is 1650mAh compared to Grands 2100mAh
- S2 seems outdated
- S2+ is unavailable in my area(Mumbai)

What about SP? You can't get any better in that budget(except N4 - no warranty).

But somehow I don't like XPERIA phones(my personal opinion). Thus have decided to go for Galaxy Grand. Will post pictures after I buy it.

good decision. Was going to take back my recommendation of nokia lumia back since many of my friends who bought lumia are either selling it at No loss or passing that phone to their mom.
People like us would get bored with it pretty quick

Thanks. Have used Windows but it seems too sophisticated for me. Android seems like the best choice for me. Wish Samsung had upped the resolution of the Grand or changed the display type from WVGA to qHD or something else.

But the prices of Note I are dropping due to launch of Galaxy S4. Have a friend who will give me Note in my budget. Is it worth buying Note I or should I stick with Grand?

Go for Note 1!! Why any doubt?
Atleast its better in terms of display. And everything else is better than Grand.
