Hello members . Today I am going to review the PSP 3000. Using it since 2 years. So decided to review it.

Pros
- Very handy & compact
- Supports many games
- Attractive colours
- Built to last
- Supports Music , Videos
- Tough built ( Not fragile unlike chinese game consoles )
- User friendly & easy to use
- In built WiFi and Skype (with in-built mic)
- 3.5mm jack & TV out

Cons
- Expensive games ( Compared to PC )
- Bad internet browser ( Absolute pain to use )
- Graphics ( I was a bit dissapointed )
- Games take a while to load
- Doesn't support all video formats

Ok now time for some pictures

I haven't tried the PSP Vita. It currently doesn't support so many games and is quite expensive. But from the reviews on the internet it is quite good.

I am a Sony junkie when it comes to gaming, got a PSP1, 2 and 3 and also a PSP 300..
Since it is primarily designed for gaming, it would not prove to be very good at playing videos or surfing..
For me it serves the purpose as I only game on it and nothing else..
Never used the TV out or the WLAN features so will refrain from commenting..

btw, nice attempt to bring the details out to the masses, ofcourse with good photographic sense.. Kudos to you..!!! [clap]

Nice review, are there any hardware upgrades to 3000 when compared with 2001? I own a PSP 2001 with 5.01 M33 custom ROM. Have always enjoyed its functionality and superB gaming experience. Looking at its size the graphics are excellent and so is the ease of playing games. I have played almost hundreds of games, some of them are:
1) GOW (all the releases)
2) GTA (all the releases)
3) WWE (all the releases)
4) Metal Gear (all the releases)
5) NFS (all the releases)
6) Dragon ball Z (all the releases)
7) Call of Duty (all the releases)
8) PES (all the releases)]
9) Fifa (all the releases)
.
.
.
the list goes on... Nowadays, my little brother uses it day and night and quite enjoys it more than PS2.[lol]

The PSP 3000 is slimmer than PSP 2000 and
- Has an improved LCD screen with higher contrast ratio, shorter response time and wider color gamut
- Anti-reflective screen
-Expanded video out
- Built in mic
Well thats it. But I would prefer the 3000. Please be beware about the PSP which is sold by Croma. Its is the 1000 series which is the first generation which doesn't have so many features and is quite bulky and thick.

Currently I have the Peace Walker version.I recommend God of War:Chain of Olympus as the storyline is interesting and involves a lot of action.

God of War: Chain of Olympus is done.. I agree with you on the storyline..

Peace walker, for me, looks never ending, the difficulty level of the game is been considerably increased when compared to its previous versions ..
It takes a lot of time and efforts to defeat the bosses in it [frustration]..
Other than that, there are number of newly added features/equipments, like, the new Fulton recovery system, strike marker (Tough it does no much damage [lol]) and the Support marker (Proves to be useful only when fighting the bosses)..
Over all I must say it is a good game and worth playing..
I always have been a fan of MGS Snake Eater and the Twin Snakes.. Those were the games I would play again and again..

Are you aware of any new version of MGS??
