DIY: Zero Cost Steering Modification in Alto

Steps.....
1). pull and remove the horn cover.
2). remove the supply to horn switch.
3). remove the metal connector parts of horn from steering
4). un-tight the center mail bolt of steering wheel and pull it up.
5). remove the lover side plastic cover.
6). cover the metallic parts with any suitable fabric. I use same fabric use for seat covers.

oh..... i transfer place of horn switch to just under the lower side of steering column cover (use new press switch)

Also i covered the center bolt with black rubber knob, it gives nice look. (NOT IN THE PICTURES)

Modifications done without any damage to interior. It is possible to change back within 10 minutes. But Iwwish to keep this.

This is certainly one odd DIY. Why would anyone want to do this? And it looks rather ugly too. I'd choose the stock steering wheel of the Alto.

Definitely creative but personally I think it ruins the appearance of the interior....doesn't it also make the horn harder to use?
