Hello guys, i did not find a thread on chevrolet beat DIYs, so started one!

I've got a Sandrift Grey Beat LT Diesel.
It's been over an year that i got it, so i now decided that its time to mod my baby up [;)]

First of all , i want to do a paint job (DIY ofcourse) on the bumpers to make them look like body kits [glasses]

I've experimented on a front lateral view in photoshop.
Please post your view on how it looks if done in real and i'm awaiting instructions too.

And do tell your opinion on the paint colour being chrome (not the chrome material, there are many products promising a chrome look, coming as spray paints).

that would be Amazing bro. chrome sure will look good. but the spray you've talking about is not reliable as per my experience.
you may also add underbody led strips.
and how about some sound system upgrades?

Saketh, not sure about the quality those spray canes provide for the looks to get like of chrome.I would suggest you rather to spend on nice set of alloys first.
Also you can have a better music system as bhvm suggested.
Something in DIY you can look for the front grille as well.

The design looks good, I would advise you to use silver/chrome reflective sticker sheet instead of painting. Advantage : after few days if you get bored, just peel off.

Stickers would be cool too, anshuman [clap]
i will be going after them now

regarding the music system upgrade, i actually like the stock audio system
works well on all input modes and booms good too.
Another reason that i'll not be upgrading the audio system is that my budget this year is low

The LT model comes with one decent spoiler.
As i'm a medico, i want to make my car look a little eye-catching, but not way too funky.
My professors would feel bad
Hence i didnt think of a spoiler
But infact, BEAT looks great with a mounted spoiler [clap]

I need some more detailed info on projector head lamps. I'm gonna walk through posts about projectors and HIDs soon [:)]

led strips, I'm not sure about Hyderabad but you may buy from any electronics shop. buying it from auto shops will only make you pay more. if you need any Help regarding led or hid lights, just drop me a line.

I've enquired abot the cost of stickering the front bumper and the side fenders, their cost estimate was 2000 rupees.
Is that reasonable ?

If you'r going to get the snickering done as DIY, make sure it's done very carefully. Better get it done from a professional guy.
Once it's done, please don't forget to share the photos with us.
Also, is there a 'chrome-looking' sticker available?
