Fiat Exclusive Showroom: Manickbag Fiat, Hubli

Hi Guys,

Had been to Manickbag Fiat Exclusive Showroom on July 14. To my surprise they were open on Sundays also. When i parked our Punto in front of showroom and was going towards showroom to take pics Mr.Tushaar,SE who was there inside with a customer came from inside seeing me and asked Sir Myself Tushaar,i said my name and said to him i came to see you new Fiat showroom by hearing this he was really happy. he said to me come and take pics of showroom. I asked him where's Mr,Naveen,SE. he's the one SE with whom i had been interacting about showroom from these many days. He had been to give a Test Drive of Linea to a customer. By seeing me and my Dad Mr.Naveen was really happy.

Showroom started its operations from 27th June. They had install a stall outside showroom. he said we are also giving offers which all other dealers are giving for July month on 2013 models. From outside showroom is looking Superb with 3 cars on display at front and another behind. Went inside and i was surprised by seeing Italian cars with Italian Ambience in showroom for the first time saw Fiat's showroom Live, had seen showroom's and Caffe's only in pics. Sat in linea for the first time. i was bold over by the smell of new cars interiors, checked Gearbox,they were shifting like butter,no effort was required at all like our Punto needs. i was thinking to buy Linea and sell our Punto which we had bought as newly used car but i knew dad wouldnt agree.

Asked Mr.Tushaar when T-Jet is coming to their showroom,he said T-Jet is launched in only metro cities now,it wont come to Hubli soon because there's not much demand for T-jet here. i was disheartened to hear this. There's also no demand for 90 hp in Hubli. they have only Punto MJD and Linea MJD for test drive. When T-Jet comes to Hubli i will surely get a ride of this beast. The customer who was inside showroom came and asked Mr.Tushaar when he was talking with me "This Car has Swift engine Right??" to my surprise Mr.Tushaar said Yes. i was like i think he should get training from Fiat. came outside and sat in stall and convinced the customer who had been to test drive to go for Emotion variant. he was asking about how is i10,i20,swift. i said him dont compare those cars with Punto..He was buying Punto but got test drive in Linea. dont know why Mr.Naveen was not saying about the features Punto boasts.

Anyways he said service center will be starting in another 2 months. sales has been improved little bit compared to Tata Fiat showroom and there are walk ins also. i was very happy to see Fiat's showroom in Hubli at last stiill no dates decided for inauguration of showroom. was getting late so couldnt spend much time there. Next time when i visit i will spend more time with them and will ask lots of queries which i have. This is not a 3S facility .it's only sales facility. They have taken one floor on lease. After 2 or 3 years they will have their own building with sales and service at one place. After starting Fiat Exclusive showroom for the month of July they sold 9 Punto's and 1 Linea from their new showroom.

1.Yes this dealer owns a Tata dealership in Hubli and Belgaum too.

2.The service workshop is located near to APMC beside to current Tata-Fiat accident body workshop as per the SA of showroom.

In most of cities I am observing, erstwhile TATA dealers are opening a new showroom for FIAT. Also they are transferring old staff from TASS to FASS. So its nothing more than old gift in new wrap.

Yes Tata dealers are encouraged to open Fiat dealers in most of cities and they are transferring old staff from TASS to FASS which will have less burden of calling new employees and training and giving them knowledge about Fiat cars.ya absolutely its like old gift of employess to us in a new wrap of showroom and service centre.

For the month of August Manickbag Fiat showroom sold just 12 Fiat's. It serves right to them,no marketing of Fiat cars in malls,roads & local exhibitions where other car dealerships will be present. They are thinking customers will come to their showroom but customers are test driving & buying Fiat cars when good amount of marketing is done. Even in newspapers or even they are not putting big banners in Hubli city about their exclusive dealerships & great offers by given Fiat. Who is the marketing manager for whole Karnataka region?
