The biggest reason why the audience and media were following Renault Pavilion very keenly was the launch of Duster SUV in India. As expected, Renault stood up to its promise and unveiled the Duster on the second day for media, and is likely to roll out in the market by Mid-2012. Apart of it, Renault has also launched the Pulse hatchback (Basically an altered Nissan Micra) at a price tag of Rs.5.77 Lakhs. Yet another couple of interesting cars that you will find gracing the Renault’s exhibit is Megane Trophy and Dezir concept.

Going by the way Renault has been pricing it's products in India, I wouldn't be surprised if the Duster's price is put upwards of Rs 15 lakh. Be prepared for another major dud from Renault in that case. The Duster is an excellent product and provided the right pricing, positioning and support, it has the potential to lick all SUV in India selling under Rs 20 lakhs. Please Renault, price it correctly. Please :please:.

Renault Duster is the make or brake car for them. Looking at the price of the Pulse, i am assuming that good sense is prevailing in them and they would launch it between 8-11 lakhs price range.
