Re: Comfort for driving on highways:- which car ?

You want a comfortable car for the highways?

Look at the Punto or Fabia. These 2 cars have far better handling, ride quality and stability than the Marutis. Even the Polo is good, but the steering is not that nice.

Still, if you want the Swift or the Ritz only, then go for the Swift.

Swift is more planted than the Ritz at high speeds. Will be better on the highways. Ride quality is marginally better too.

i would say ritz vdi because it has hard suspension and you can take turns at highway speed without the fear of overturning though it wont overturn the purpose of hard suspension is that you need not slow down i guess breaking will be good if the suspension is soft correct me if im wrong[;)]

I don't like the airbags concept although ABS is something useful at higher speeds

the problem with abs and without abs is the cost difference

difference of i 1,30,000 between swift vdi and zdi

where as ritz has only difference of 20k between abs and non abs model

also can ABS feature be fitted from outside ?

First of all, I would suggest you to go for a car which has ABS and Airbags. If you are tight on your budget get atleast a model with ABS.
If you can go for the Swift ZDi it would be a good choice and if you are opting fot the Ritz i would recomend you the VDi ABS variant.
Consider Punto also before taking your final decision. If you like it go for dynamic variant which will get you ABS as standard.

The diffence in the price gap between swift VDi and ZDi is that ZDi has automatic climate control, Airbags, alloys etc in addition to ABS? VDi doesn't have any of those above listed features.
Whereas the difference between Ritz VDi and VDi ABS is that there is only one feature addition that is ABS. But Ritz VDi ABS is an overall VFM car

Can you tell us why you dont prefer Airbags?

Yes, the price difference is steep, but if you afford it, you will get a lot of additional features too.

No.

I have received three copies after booking the car. one is booklet containing accessories and stuff and other is vendors receipt. since no deal was offered I managed to get mud flaps, matts and seat covers. is there a part of negotiation which can still be done once car is ready for delivery ?
