Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi vs Hyundai Santro XP Comparison

friends this is my first thread in The Automotive India, i have a confusion in my mind whether, we can compare a top trim alto (2000-2012) to a mid trim santro(1998-2014).i know wagon-r is the exact comparable vehicle to a santro ,but recently i felt that to some extent we can compare santro to an alto ; even though santro have more power and it is roomer than alto. but on those days there was no EON ,so santro was the entry level product from Hyundai stable ,need your opnion
