Are you sure you want to change to Scorpio or XUV? I am asking only because I see from your profile that you have (or had ) a Safari?
The XUV is a monocoque, a first from Mahindra. By all reports it is a great vehicle and the AWD version is perfectly adequate for mild off-roading
and is a fine mile-muncher. The Scorpio is body-on-frame and therefore nowhere as agile as the XUV, though it is also a great long distance tourer. The
difference is mainly in the ruggedness, abuse-friendliness and durability factor. I have been running my Scorpio for the past 12 years all over
the country & so I can say with some assurance that it can last forever with normal routine maintenance and a degree of TLC!
I am not so sure
about the XUV 500. I say this only because it is a monocoque, which, by definition, does not lend itself to ruggedness or abuse. It has great rigidity
of structure & this translates to its proven handling & agility factors. But ruggedness & durability is another issue.
