All being in different segment altogether so cannot be directly compared in terms of their performance, technology, quality, ride and handling and capacity.

If you are comparing in terms of price still its not the proper comparison.

My opinion on buying any SUV, is that, a SUV must have below characters,
- 4x4 / [AWD] [limited slip differential preferable]
- drive for different terrain system
- 6 airbags
- robust body construct
- good ground clearance.

If you are buying any SUV, not having such features then its like buying a car for big body.

If you are looking for comfortable perfect 7 seater for your family then,
- Mahindra XYLO H8 [this being the most comfortable for all three row and powerful of all three]
- Chevrolet Enjoy LTZ [not powerful but comfortable]
- MS Ertiga ZDI+ [powerful as compared to its body and easy to drive in traffic]

My suggestion is you to paper down your requirement,
- no. of people travelling most of times
- physic of people travelling most of times
- monthly run
- terrain you are going to use mostly [highway/hill/city/town/village]
- budget

My suggestion if you are not interested in buying 4x4 then go for DUSTER. If 7 seater then either top end STROME 4x4/ XUV500 W10 AWD or simply ignore these two from your list.

Check out on information google/youtube XUV500 AWD and then choose it.

If your use in not related to a SUV, go for sedans.

Out of the 3 contenders, only Safari is the body on frame type, so it wont handle around corners as well as the other 2.

Ride quality is the best in Safari and Duster.

Safari and XUV have tremendous room inside and both have more than enough power to move it.

Duster 110 PS AWD has been tuned differently when compared to 2WD 110 PS Duster which aids to almost zero turbo lag (which is quite apparent on the 2WD) and great in-gear accelerations.

If you are going to use the SUV in city as well, then better stick to Duster.

Of the 3, I rule out Duster as its an expensive 5 seater. Safari Storme, yes, its a good machine and reliable but interiors won't be flashy. For XUV-5OO, it is perfect choice from the mentioned options buddy. If XUV-500 is the one then go for w8 model. If you have time to wait, then wait for Hexa to launch.

compact UV Duster does not fit in the comparison with other two full grown UVs.

between XUV and strome,

looks: personal.
space: strome
seating: depends on usage
features: XUV
Ride quality: Strome
handling; XUV
brakes: strome
ease of driving: XUV
corners: XUV

If you intend to go for off roading, strome should be the car for you.

Take a test drive and choose the one. If you can wait, check out the Hexa Also.

Any reasons for not choosing the scorpio?

You can go off roading in the Storme, but please note that its underbody bits and fuel tank hang way too low and can be damaged in a serious offroad stint. Besides that, its a bit too heavy and can get easily bogged down in muck. If you want occasional off road thrills yet a compact stance and overall capability, Duster it is. If you need the car to just make its 'presence felt' on the roads, then Storme/XUV it is.

Welcome to TAI, Sudarshan.

If yours is a small family and requirement is 5 seater, take Duster.

To seat more people, take the XUV as it has a "much better all around package".

Left to ladies, I sense, they prefer the Safari. On a trip from Nashik to Mumbai in a shared taxi, the two lady passengers were thrilled to be in the Safari (the Taxi operator normally allots Innova or Aria). They kept talking talking & talking about Safari.

Dont take me as being rude and disregarding to your worthy choices. I just want to suggest to you a car that is apparently a wonderful choice to my eyes. Test drive the ISUZU D-max VX 4x4.

Im in the same dilemma. I have taken multiple test drives of above said SUVs. only Tata Safari Storme could satisfy my requirement in terms of ride quality. If seriously want offloading then none of the above cars for you. You will have to go for Thar.
