Buying Advice (Petrol): Hyundai Grand i10 Magna vs Ford Figo Ambiente 1.2

Hi,

This is for my sister who is a begginer. Looking around a budget of 5. We shortlisted to these two models.

Reason:-
1. Atleast driver airbag.
2. Decent power for highway drives (later, if not soon).
3. Space for 5 people.

Both of them are falling around 5 - 5.3 lakhs range in my hometown. Only exclusions are the music system, parking sensors, remote lock which we plan to get done from outside.

I am quiet confident about Grand i10 Magna (w/ single airbag), but have not much experience with Ford Figo Ambiente 1.2 (Petrol). While I really loved the drive of Figo diesel, Fiesta Diesel/Petrol, I need some inputs on how Figo petrol is doing and is it preferable over Grand i10 at same price.

As you are talking about petrol,both car does not score much because of poor petrol engine.However safety wise Figo is better than grand i10 as it has a better build quality and good riding dynamics compare to grand i10.You can also consider Tiago or Swift Ldi(O)

Ford Figo is a better option than Grand i10 because of safety features it offers read the crash report of Grand i10 it scored 0 stars although new Figo isn't tested yet but should do better than 0 stars in my opinion
