I guess doctor is paying something around 23 lakh for XUV 500 W10 AT AWD How this decision is reached?
I had driven Endeavour 3.2 and PMed Doctor that it's a cool car (I hate the roof AC vents of Endy though) and then the discussion started.
Soon Doctor decided that he doesn't want to go over 20 lakh. This is how conversation went: Doctor:
It must have seven seats and a sunroof and all under my budget. Me:
Go and buy an Octavia TSi Doctor:
Seven seats is a must else I will be out of my house. Me:
Then leave home Doctor:
In that case I will come to live in your house Me:
No no doctor, I will find a car for you. How can I let anyone push you out of your house?
Here came the main statement: "XUV is a nice car doctor, it's just that I personally don't like it"
Then I talked to all my XUV owning friends, talked about it's auto tranny and I was quite sure that XUV will perfectly suit the doctor.
XUV 5OO W10 finalized. Again: Me:
Doctor, if it is an SUV then it has to be a 4X4 Doctor
: Paisa kaha se ayega? (From where money will come?) Me:
Higher installment, only 2000 more per month Doctor:
But I don't need an AWD Me:
Doctor, AWD can take you places. For me a 4X2 SUV is not an SUV. (What's the difference between an SUV and a high GC van if SUV has no 4X4?) Doctor:
But I don't need it. Me:
Buy a 4X4 once and you will love it later. You will need reasons to drive where others dont. You can go dune bashing and do picnics where no one dares to go. Doctor:
Fine... it has to be AWD now. Later: Me:
Doctor, you can buy FWD too if you don't need AWD Doctor:
Now it will be XUV AWD only and you will be taking me to ladakh in it if I get to visit you.
Finally... Doctor getting a Black XUV 5OO W10 Automatic AWD
