Airbags is a BIG difference. So is the presence of rear washer/wiper, which the Storme LX does not have IMO
Storme does not come across as VFM
at all in its current avatar. I do not what Tata uses to build the car, that makes it so costly to purchase. In fact, the XUV W4 is actually feature-wise equivalent to the Storme VX. And even there, the W4 has a music system . And there is a 2 lac Rs difference between the two.
One could of course argue conversely, as to where Mahindra has indulged in cost cutting to bring down the XUV costs so much ?
However, the Storme and XUV are not in the same category, technically speaking. The Storme is a proper body on frame SUV, whereas the XUV is a cross-over, much like the Duster and the Aria.
