Hi TAI's!

I am shifting to four wheeler from bike after a couple of accidents.
After a big research, TD's, couple of cancellations [frustration] booked a EON sportz on Oct 30th at Hyundai Motor Plaza, Chennai(will share the whole experience in ownership thread).

Hyundai Eon Sportz OTR - Rs. 4,54, 530
Got Rs.15,000 offer, still negotiating for discounts and offers.

I will be taking delivery by 15th nov.

Even though i have gone through the PDI checklist I would like to know about any specific PDI for EON or Hyundai.

And need suggestion for:
1. must-to-have accessories,
2. About insurance, comprehensive or B2B
3. Buying insurance on my own (which is 4k less than showroom quote)
4. Need a basic ICE upgrade- some bass effect at low cost
5. Suggestion for Sun film
6. Under-body rust proof

And any other do's and dont's as i am totally new to cars!!
Thanks in advance!![:)]

There's nothing THAT special for the EON.Just go through the PDI Checklist.Ah..And make sure about the Radiator in her is not Cracked or Scratched.Check for Scratches in Body and More than 30 KM in ODO is a Bad news.Otherwise,It is a great Car.Has one of the best Quality and Interior in the Segment.May I know why isn't the Chevy Spark Considered ?

Congrats on the new car. Wish you happy miles ahead.

2. B2B is safe bet. Don't mind paying few additional grands. It gives a complete peace of mind
3. May be. But at some cases this could be negotiated with the dealer itself
5. Hope they aren't legal
6. Not mandatory, but getting them done is added advantage
.May I know why isn't the Chevy Spark Considered ?
Because it wasn't considered

Thanks Mr. Boss for your detailed solutions [:)]

2 & 3. I am getting comprehensive insurance for free (Hyundai December delight offer) and as i'm opting for B2B i have to pay the difference in amount
5. Sun films are illegal but there is some partial stickering is allowed right? don't we need some protection from direct sun light? please clarify me..
6. I will get it if it comes under budget

Congrats for your first car , have a safe miles ahead

What is your driving pattern? How frequently do you travel under hot sun? IMO if the frequency of travel in hot sun is very less, you could live with no sun films.
