Pre-Worshiped Tata Safari 2.2 VTT?

Hi,
My Brother is planning to buy Pre owned Tata Safari 4X2 GX Dicor 2.2 VTT (Arctic White) from Mahindra First Choice Pune. Its March 2011, 68K Km Driven, Cost Would be around 5.3 Lakh. Its MH-10 (Sangli Registered)
Exterior seems quite good with very few minor scratches and no dent at all. interior is ok. (need cleaning and Seat covers replacement). Car has ABS, 4 alloys, spare wheel (steel), reverse parking sensors, Rear Defogger, Front fog Lamps, Second row AC, Music System, Rear Wash wipers.
MFC will give us free service (Labour and Parts), Insurance, RTO Transfer. Second free service (Labor), 24X7 RSA.
For him FE is not concern. Car looks nice and maintained, but my biggest worry is what after few thousand Kms, considering the reputation of TATA vehicles in terms of repairs and high maintenance, more concern. He really liked this vehicle, and wants to book immediately so that we can drive home this beauty before Diwali.
Your valuable thoughts on cost, and all other things please.

Check on OLX as well I have seen some good safaris for sale out there, also if possible visit a second hand delaer near market yard pune petrol pump he mostly deals in safari and I have seen some nice safaris with very less running at reasonable cost the dealer name is OM motors, also check in hadapsar

Hi Pankaj,
TATA is using Varicor engine in Movus and Safari now. Most people say it was one of the best engines from TATA. So earlier version Dicor engine based Safari will be very less priced in the Used Car Market.

Checked on OLX but didn't find anything, in Hadapsar Market found 2-3 Mumbai registered cars, which we don't want. Tried to search OM Motor's contact number, but didn't get it . Anyways before booking this car, we searched other vehicles like New Duster, but he didn't like it, so finally we booked this Safari from Mahindra First Choice Bavdhan.

First thing did you check the mileage ?

The maintenance of used diesel cars are always on higher side.

Thanks for your advice, I also informed him about all this, but he just wants this car to create "Havaa" at his native place, this will be gift to his father from him. running will be not more than 30-40 km per day.
