But spare problem/delay is slowly improving. Quote:

But end-of-the day if you have any doubt, not worth to take risk. |

| Exact .
Plenty of time is there. Another project is going on for him , so this may delay.
Everything seems uncertain . But a diesel hatch is badly needed |

| Fiat Punto | Ford Figo | Maruti Ritz Hello Ilango, First of all please do answer all the questions which are asked in this thread. Currently considering the requirements which you have told, There are only a handful diesel hatchbacks which are available in your budget and the ones I'd strongly advise you to look at are: - Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 Active: Rs.5,03,087 (Ex.Showroom Chennai)
- Ford Figo Titanium: 4,43,000 (Ex. Showroom Chennai)
- Maruti Ritz LDi : Rs.4,70,352 (Ex. Showroom Chennai)
You're a well-informed person, so I'm not going to ga-ga about Maruti's After Sales, Fiat's built or Ford's future market plans. Please just confirm if your requirements really meet a diesel because with the budget under 5 Lakhs~ there's a limited choice available otherwise in petrol you'll get a hell lot of models, that too top end!

| Hey Ilango
You should stick with Figo.
Its the best bet.
If too concerned on future of ford, then Ritz is way better than any car in the list :) |

| Figo is a fresh thingy, with tried and tested Fiesta engine. But it lacks goodies.
ALso Micra with detuned Logan diesel is on the block. It may come within next month. BTW you will never go wrong with Swift Ldi/Vdi. ??

| For the price of base Grande Punto (Active) Diesel, You'll get a nearly top-end version of Ford Figo (Zxi) Diesel but since you've basic feature requirements and one of a top priority includes tough built and long run, My honest advice would be to consider Fiat Grande Punto.

| except figo , i have driven all cars , not on td basis . some way or other i get a car to drive
Looking on the figo
Cheapest of lot here ,
figo diesel base is 4.48L here
base lxi has no tachy , But its my JOB . I'll fix one of my own
Happy with 175 section 14 incher tyre
It is 69bhp @4000 rpm -max power . Its enough and i know how to increase it.
Left side ovrm and boot openers are not present in lxi model. Again not a problem , i'll fix them of my own
I am only worried about the spare cost of figo!
-----------Next Post----------- ABS , Airbag , dual tone interior , door pad dual tone , present in top model , but i am not intrested in them.
Ford has said that a petrol filter has a life of 60,000 kms (same for diesel is 30,000 kms). Timing belt change at 1L above kms. Engine coolant life is 1,00,000 kms. Factory fill transmission oil will last the lifetime of the vehicle.
Is this all real
