Personally, I wouldnt mind this price as well. If more bargaining is going to get me only 1-2k off, I really dont think its worth the effort. I know this is a rather "lazy to the point of being retarded" approach, but oh well. show me 10-15k and i'll fight like a bull and be as movable as Dravid :D
Whatever the final deal be, I'll get my car on 26th(most probably). I'm so excited.
The Zen has driven ~90000 kilometers, is just 3 months away from its 15 years mark, and selling to ford saves us a TON of hassle, which is worth the 3-5k less than what someone else MAY have paid. We as a family have been burnt enough number of times in the past when selling vehicles.
Any quick tips and driving a new car/driving a figo/driving a diesel car for the first time? If I may ask here.
You have got a good price. It would have been better if you sold your Zen outside as the exchange bonus can then be haggled and added to the discount. But other wise price is OK.
The back door can be adjusted, so have it done during the first service. Have not done so on my Figo, but have done it couple of times on Jazz. So it can be done.
The music system is good but have found that all USB drives dont work. Dell does not and nothing over 8 GB.
The company provided black seat cover with silver stripe are VFM
. Mileage wise there should be a slight increase after the first service.
Also please take care of the tyre pressure. Keep the correct pressure and it does not scrape.
On the whole a very VFM
hatch with excellent highway handling.
