Dear friends,
I am planning to shift to sedan from my everloving swift VDI.
I had a test drive of verna fluidic but frankly speaking did not appealed, cant sense any control on steering even at 60kmph, also drived rapid found fabulous on the road, excellent control, stability.

But worried about skoda's After sales Service and maintenance cost.

Please advice me cant able to decide without your help.

Amongst all the cars you have mentioned, I have driven only VW Vento Diesel,

VW Vento (TDI - Diesel)
I love the car for the fantastic pickup (0 - 100 in 11secs!), very good handling, well built body & the list goes on...
Service Interval is 15000kms, service bill can be anywhere between 15K to 20K for the first service.

Fluidic Verna:
The best looking car among them all is the "FLUIDIC VERNA", it is a true head turner, top end also comes with disc brakes on all wheels.

SKODA RAPID:
I believe it is priced slightly lesser than Vento, however everything excepts for badging, bonnet, boot lid, headlamp & taillamp are different (Skodish), but everything underneath will be the same as Vento.

FORD FIESTA CLASSIC:
Our 350Z owns one, except plain looks no other deal breaking negatives about the car. Ford Ikon was a big success & Fiesta is nothing less.

My choice would be Fiesta is budget is an issue. If not anyday its Vento.

I would suggest you to go with Vento if not Verna as Vento is a pretty nice car with good pickup and good handling at high speeds, also the 2012 Highline looks pretty good with the new alloys, blacked HL, and some newly added features comapred to previous Highline variant.

And as a personal opinion i think it's definitely a VFM product.

I would recommend you Fiesta Classic and then Rapid and Then Vento.

Fiesta classic is also gem of car. Serves the purpose it is meant to do. [clap]

Hi aceajju,

Welcome to the Automotive India. IMO the new Ford Fiesta is one great car to own. Although it is a bit pricier compared to the rivals, but still IMO, its is worth it.

I request you to share a few important details first :

1. Your max budget
2. Fuel preference
3. Chauffeur or self driven
4. Max. no. of passengers frequenting the ride
5. Your mix of driving (good/bad roads and city/highway kms per month)
