You gave a wrong link by the way. This one is for sales not service! This is the one tornado referred to: 2011 CSI INDIA.pdf |

| Re: Totally Confused...Budget Rs.7 - 10 Lacs Gurrala, you have given a link for sales satisfaction index( SSI)i.e. Showroom experience
rating. ASS is reflected in custemer satisfaction index ( CSI).
SSI is one time experience of the glittering gold, while CSI tells you that all that glitters is not gold.
Please provide link for CSI 2012, I am not able to find it.
We are not at all OT here, IMHO, it is a question of 1 million Rs. to be spent here, So ASS has to be discussed proper ly.

| Re: Totally Confused...Budget Rs.7 - 10 Lacs I know surveys are not fully reliable , But JD POWER associates conduct them in a scientific and transperant way. The ranking can go wrong by one or two places but No.9 can't claim that they deserve place in first fives. Auto makers respect them worldwide.
I remember a skoda dealer displaying and boasting about the prize issued by JD POWER associates for SSI, 3 to 4 years back, when I asked about CSI , he went to ask his senior and did not retuned back yet.
The pie diagram at the bottom of CSI study shows cost of spares is not taken in to account so no wonder if skoda has reduced spares prises.
On this thread , AFA ASS is concerned Hyundai Verna seems the first contender for Yaha's garage, but yaha has said no to verna so what next? |

| Re: Totally Confused. Budget Rs.7 - 10 Lacs @Yaha,
In my suggestion if you want to go for Vento or any skoda car be prepared for huge service bills and spare cost !! if you want to have peaceful sleep then, please look at any TATA or Maruti or even Toyota stuff and finally any Honda will do !! |

| Re: Totally Confused. Budget Rs.7 - 10 Lacs I am concerned more about quality of the service (as per JDPOWER) and will not mind to spend bit more on ASS if the auto maker comes with good quality ASS if I have a budget of a million bucks.
On this forum, there are many owners and lovers of fiesta who give less importance toASS than the driving pleasure.
Now, it is important for the recent Skoda /vw/sunny owners to come here and talk about quality of ASS. |

| Re: Totally Confused. Budget Rs.7 - 10 Lacs Haha.. Everyone is getting so technical out here.
Well I inquired all my friends whether which car should i go for. They all say no matter the base version of Verna is not that classy but Verna is the best diesel sedan. Im now in a totally confused state. VENTO - RAPID - VERNA .. So many options available but I just can't fix my state of mind! |

| Re: Totally Confused. Budget Rs.7 - 10 Lacs Volkswagen hearts inside the vento and Rapid are truly refined may be better than Verna .
Only bad thing is ASS ,like taking more than reasonable time to solve mediocre problems, calling the custemer for car delivery and when custemer reaches there, telling him that they would take one more week to complete the work and so on.
If you have one' more car at your home to serve you in such scenario , you can go for vw/skoda without any hesitation.
In my case, I didn't wait till Rapid's launch as our other car was my father's important requirement and nature of my work was against the delay type ASS., hence I went for MANZA , the rear comfort was also important for my wife so that she can seat cross legged with baby on lap.

| Re: Totally Confused. Budget Rs.7 - 10 Lacs The plans have totaaly changed. We finally feel we need a hatch rather than a sedan because we already own the mighty Innova
So finally help me choose among Swift Zdi, i20 Sportz and Polo Highline Diesel |

Well in changed scenario ,best buy would be i20.as you want to sell the existing swift ,the i20 has better rear comfort too, also ASS is as good as Msil. And now they are also coming with discount @20k on diesel i20.
For polo,I think the 3 pot engine would be little underpowred for for a person who is used to swift's power/torque. |
