| Since your HU has only one preout.
You can use the amp to power either the speakers or the sub.
i would never recommend amplifying the sub and not the speakers.
If possible, get the HU changed to something with 2/3 preouts. |

| Raj i don't take this as fights , do you?
Abinav is a student , so his view may be rude , but his points are right!
Also a healthy argument brings good result! esp for cooldhaya!
2090 is older model and this model is stopped, now we get 1150\1190 in this place.
splitter can be used, but power will be shared!
changing the head unit must be the last choice. and you cant run 2 subs that you wish!
And i am myself not allowed to use unbranded wires and components under my franchise banner. |

| then use splitters and power both speakers and a sub, or 2 subs.
this is one of the main reasons why i hate sony, most of the models in sony offer only 1 rc out |

Its better than using a y-cable.
In y cable, power will be divided. In speaker level line out convertors , quality might not be as good but still there will be no power division. Quote:

Divides one preout into two, which means power divided, and no independent control for sub and speakers. NEVER go for it.
Line out converters convert ur speaker line outs to rca alternatives, which can be used as amplifier line in's. They are nessecarily digital rectifiers which convert the high power line outs to low power line ins.
Your Best Bet. Go For It. |
