From your experience, what would you have bought if you had 1 to 1.5l budget in hand for speakers, subs and amps?
He owns a new Creta for which he wants to change the audio. I believe Creta should have a good HU that doesn't necessarily need to be changed.
My knee jerk response to him would be 'Focal PS comps' or 'Hertz HSK 165XL comps' JBL amps, Blaupunkt subs...
But I know you guys can go with a lot better setup than me.
Thanks for the help!
1-1.5 Lakhs is a very decent budget.
Before suggesting you anything, I would say, when selecting an ICE set up Audition every set-up before finalizing on anything. What is Gold for others might be worthless to you. to start off:
HU: Pio, JVC or Kenny
Front Door: 6' Polk MM Components or Focal 6' Components
Rear Door: Either you can go for co-axials or again components. JBL coax are pretty decent or Look for Hertz
Sub: I have JBL 1200W I find it to be on the punchy side rather than boomy which is exactly my taste. Rockfosgate and Polk make some good Subs as welll. please do go in for bass tubes.
Amps: you would need two amplifiers:
1) Amp-1: 4 channel: to power all the doors Speakers/components: I am using Blaus and pretty satisfied with their performance so far
2) Amp-2: Class D, power amplifier: to power the sub, I am personally using Rockford series and they seems pretty awesome.
Hope this gives an idea to start with. Let us know what have decided, starting off with.
