I am planning to upgrade the audio experience in my Vista D90 ZX+. It has a blaupunkt New York HU which came as stock(pic attached) - has got BT, Navigation, etc - so I don't plan to touch it.
Currently my thought is to change the speakers, add an amp (is it needed?) and maybe a sub woofer (again - is this needed?).
The stock speakers on all 4 doors seem really bad. To start off, I plan to change them into something good and powerful. The size of the cut is 5.4", so I am restricted to find only speakers of that size (don't plan to alter anything).
Front Speakers:
[Shortlisted] HERTZ CAR COMPONENT SPEAKER DSK 130.3 - Peak W 120 Continuous W 60
[Other Option] Blaupunkt Car 5.4" Inches 2-Way Component Round Speakers-CX 130 - Rated Power : 53 WattsPeak Power : 240 Watts
Back Speakers:
[Shortlisted] Hertz ECX 130.5 Speakers - 150 Watts Peak/50 Watts
[Other Option] Hertz DCX 130.3 (DCX130.3) - W peak: 80 / W continuous: 40
[Other Option] Polk Db521 - Continuous 45 watts Peak 135 watts
Please suggest if my shortlisted ones are fine or I should check something else?
Once I am done with the above, I plan to get an amp. Below are some options I am thinking.
[Shortlisted] Sony - Xplod - XM-N1004 - 4 Channel Bridgeable Amplifier - 1000 W
[Other Option] JBL - GX-A644SI - 4 Channel Power Amplifier -1000 W
[Other Option] Blaupunkt Car 600 Watts 4 Channel Amplifier-EMA 455 - 600W
[Other Option] Blaupunkt Car 840 Watts 4 Channel Amplifier-GTA 470 SF - 840 W
[Other Option] SONY CAR AMPLIFIER XM-GS400 - 675W
Finally, the sub-woofer. I don't want to compromise the boot space - hence confused between an enclosed model and a tube model.
[Other Option] Sony - XS-NW12022E In Car Subwoofer Box
[Shortlisted] Rockford Fosgate Car Bass Tube RF-1400T
Overall, the entire shortlisted setup comes to abou 13k. I will need to spend on getting this fixed & wiring, etc - not sure how much that would come upto. Btw, the accessories above are all planned to be purchased online - so not very sure if all will work together well.
Please give your valuable suggestions.
