My friend is in the market for a reliable bike for 60-80k and was considering the upcoming Honda Hornet. He wants it to be a looker as well and he felt the Honda disappointed him in this department. I suggested the Suzuki Gixxer and he liked it, but felt it was a tad bit too expensive for a 155cc (only about 2000 cheaper than a 200ns) and was skeptical about the maintenance costs. However, this is his first bike and so I doubt he'll need the extra 45cc.
I also suggested him to take a look at a scooter since he will only be using the bike for city commute <5km in mild traffic and so a scooter would make sense. However, he is against it.
