Re: difference between tubeless tyre and run flat tyre

Run flats have tougher sidewalls and some sort of structure internally to keep tyre in inflated-like position for 100km after puncture. After 100km , you have to change the tyre for 20-30k. You can get it repaired like normal tyres if you dont use it for 100km after puncture
In an ideal condition, you can keep filling air in the tyres and go on driving further
But this isnt always applicable for our conditions and a spare tyre is best
Run flats are also stiffer and have harsh ride

Thanks kkn13 for the early reply.
So it is always better to use normal tubeless tyre in our road condition where puncture is very frequent .
Repairing Runflat tyre like normal tyre .... do you mean like tubeless tyre ?

Not better than tubeless exactly
Run flats offer more flexibility etc because of tougher sidewalls and the ability to use them 100km after puncture but they cannot be considered as replacements for a spare tyre.
In our conditions, you still need a spare tyre in case of tyre bursts etc

Run flats can be repaired like tubeless tyres but BMW etc will of course say otherwise because of $$$ and ask to replace.
