Well im not actually posting a review I'm asking for one, ive always loved honda cars , have driven the longest in different types of honda city too. So i thought how about we revive all honda city and even compare all of them. All i know about the citys are their launched models
1. Honda city type 1(ohc type 1)
2.honda city type 2 (ohc type 2)
3.honda city type 3 (nhc)
4.honda city type 4 (anhc)
5.honda city type 5 current generation
I might be wrong in the names too im too much interested in knowing the history i had seen a similar post maybe here or team bhp but it wasnt that satisfying so owners of these respective cars please shed some light on ur experience and difference between each models .

I own a 2011 Honda City Ivtec. So far the car has served me well with just a airbag component replacement done as part of recall by Honda. Apart from this my experience with the car has been just 'fill it shut it' so far. But I really don't like it's build quality as well as the poor ground clearance.

Atlast someone started sharing their experience , anyway what build quality are u talking about .. Interior, exterior ? And the GC is a serious issue tbh.my nhc has eveb lower gc then yours .and akash this is not a honda exclusive anyone can comment ..people who had honda or wishing to have one are free to share here

External Built Quality. Interiors are good though and fit & finish of them is neat.

I have a preowned 2009 city s and wondering if any one can answer my query here
1. I can remove keys while ignition is on - i checked with my colleagues city 2008 model and same result, is it normal?
2. No speed sensing door lock available? I had this in my wagon r. After a certain speed can would automatically lock (i guess its post 20 kmph
3.my auto roll up/down has gone kaput after my mechanic poured water in main switch, any idea if it can be fixed in Pune or Bangalore
4. Can shock absorber be repaired?

1. Not normal at all

2. Not available stock but can be added via OBD AFAIK

3. Possible but better to replace unless you trust the repair person

4. Not sure but if replacing , then go for 2012 City shocks etc. 2012 City is the same car with 165 GC over 2009's 160

We both have the same problem. Exactly
So for key removal. It's a result of worn out lock
And if you have a remote for unlocking the car. Play with the buttons it will activate auto lock. Either by long pressing every button. Or pressing a button many time.
Even my auto window doesn't works. But you can try some options given on internet to try to activate it again
