Starting Motorcycle Repair Shop / Custom Shop

I searched through the forum but coudn't find any thread related to the topic above. I'm looking to start a bike/motorcycle only garage and custom modification shop. I have no prior experience in this area.
Can someone please share their experience in such field like
1. What license to procure from state govt for such shop
2. What safety precautions to take for such a shop
3. Starting capital and estimated monthly expenses
I'm also looking to keep motorcycle (bajaj, honda, yamaha) spare parts in the shop.

You have to get in touch with Inspector of Shops for licensing. They'll issue you a permit which would be applicable for 3 years i guess.

2. What safety precautions to take for such a shop

* Fire Extinguisher

* CCTV

* Security Guard

* Employee Verification from local police station.

I'm also looking to keep motorcycle (bajaj, honda, yamaha) spare parts in the shop.

This is decided when its clear whether you'll open it yourself i.e whole investment is to be done by you or in partnership. The spares you can procure once you speak with the spares department of the OEM dealerships.
