The ‘thumbs up’ feature has been introduced by popular demand as a successor of the ‘reputation’ function. This facility continues to serve the same purpose as earlier. i.e.: eliminating one-liners from threads, such as ‘thanks, ‘welcome’, ‘congrats’ etc. in order to create an overall enriching experience for everyone.
Here's how it works. Hit ‘thumbs up’ icon on a post that you appreciate.
The receiver gets an instant notification.
Digits show total amount of thumbs up the post has received. Hover on it to view names of the members who offered a ‘thumbs up’.
You can list all your ‘thumbs up’ received or given by visiting thumbs up center under ‘Quick Links’ menu on navigation bar.
All members can view the total amount of thumbs up given and received by someone under statistics tab on user profile.
