the yokos are known to be the silent tyres of the lot.
AFAIK there are some ratings which one needs to be aware which mentions the speed rating of the tyre etc.

let others post some more info about that.

Was in a tyre shop to fill up on nitrogen. Had a talk with the staff on which tyre was best. They are stockist for Michelin, Yoko, BS, JK and lot of others. I was thinking of getting alloys and the existing tyres had already done 30k, so was thinking to change them in another 5K kms. Following is what I heard from them:
1) Michelin are the leaders followed by BS and then Yoko.
2) Michelin XM2 is quite superior but closely followed by Yoko A drive
3) Few dealers have XM1+, which they are selling at lower prices
4) XM2 and A drive are value for money, with Michelin being a little costly
5) Both come with 3 year /40K km warranty
6) Prices given to me (mine is 175-65-R15) is Rs.5400 for XM2 and Rs.5100 for A drive. Your would be lesser as in R14. Extra for wheel balancing and weights.

I suggest you can pick any of the two. Since you are currently using MRF, you will find great improvement in your ride once you switch.

Mine is Honda Jazz with 175-65-R15 Michelin XM1 (company stock). XM1 is good tyre but outdated with XM1+ and lately by XM2. Also it (XM1) has a little softer side wall, the main reason XM1+ was introduced.

Have heard good things about Yoko A drive; personally I think both are same with Michelin (i.e XM2) cashing in on its premium brand image.

If you want to spend a little more; can go for Yoko C drive or Michelin Pilot (not sure if available for Fiesta though).

And as I said; you will immediately feel the difference with either of them once you upgrade, meaning miles ahead of MRF you currently have.

100% agreed.
In Civic when we switched from BS to Michelin, there is a lot of improvement. Less road noise, better comfort, better fuel economy ([confused])

Any difference (mileage, suspension etc.) will be hardly noticeable. 195 is a good upgrade from 175 so dont think you will have any issue.

Do you feel any difference in the ride quality etc? Please let us know your feedback on the tyres.
