Hello guys,

As you all know that we had bought an Innova few months ago. So,I'm thinking to change the horns of my Innova as stock is not enough for highways.

Which is best?I'm considering Roots Megasonic/Vibrosonic,Hella Red grilles and Skoda-VW type horns.

I always liked the Polite "Pom- Pom" german style horns. Quite melodious.
Roots will suit more an Butch SUV rather an MPV like innova.

Or add dual horn setups with a switch :D :P
Pom-pom and Roots depending on your mood [lol]
BTW roots sounds a little like the stock Toyota horn from what I heard via youtube demos
Am I right?

I had that on my Safari 1.9L.
There was a curious switch on the dash that was 2 way.
On one pole we kept Pom-Pom horns for the city use. But the Highway Run duty was changed to Roots Vibrasonic!
You made me Nostalgic KKn![:D]

Fun it is,You bet!
No cons. Just install a good relay for the Roots. They suck power quite a bit.
Somehow that safari 1.9 Came with the 2 way switch from the factory. Did'nt know what for. We found it empty so used it.

Recently, got the spiral cable changed as the horn was not functioning and spent ₹14500 on it.I asked my SA whether I should change the stock horns after spiral cable replacement. He said,if you change the horns, the spiral cable might get damaged and then you will have to change the spiral cable if the horns stops working again and he gave me other option that retain the stock horns and get another horns like Roots Vibrosonic or Megasonic by getting switch installed inside.
