Hi friends,
I am running Hyundai Eon Era+ from 2013. The car was with Goodyear 145/80/R12 tires. Recently, I found three tires are deformed. [cry]
So decided to go for new thick tires.
I am getting YOKOHAMA R539 165/60/R12 tires. I heard that YOKOHAMA is good.

1. Can I go for it?
2. What are the problems I am going to face if I change to Yokohama 165/60/R12?
3. Also share the advantages too.

Thanks.

Re: Hyundai Eon Era tires change

Firstly, 165/60 is not the correct upsize (6% difference), correct upsize would be 165/70R12 (0.19%).

1. No idea. Those who have used Yokohama can comment.

2. The problems can be slightly harder steering, very slightly reduced FE, very very slight decrease in performance and the tyre can rub on the wheel well on full load.

3. Looks good, better handling, better road grip. That's all.
