Hello,

I am planning for tyre change in my Hyundai i20 Asta Petrol model. It has Apollo Acelere 185/60R14 stock tyre on stock alloy wheel.

I am planning to for upsizing the tyre size to 195/60R14. Below are some of my findings,

Yokohama S.Drive 195/60R14 86H
Michelin Energy XM2 195/60R14 86H
BridgeStone Potenza GIII 195/60R14 86H
Apollo Acelere 195/60R14 86H
MRF ZLO 195/60R14 86H
Pirelli Cinturato P1 Verde 195/60R14 86H

Please add your experience or reviews on these. OR Do suggest me something other than the list.

Can I upsize a little more say "205" instead "195". What will be the performance issue apart from FE.

Are you planning for rim size upgrade.

Do you have alloys? Which i20 variant do you have?

If you have steel rims then 185/65 R14 is the better to have. But if you have alloys that are 14" then 195/60 R14 or 205/55 R14 are the best to go for.

I would suggest to go for rim size upgrade to have good ground clearance; so 15" alloys would be a best choice and 195/60 R14 is the best upgrade for i20.

Appart from that, regarding the tyre brand and type, I would choose

first as Michellin XM2 [I am no sure that 195/60 R15 is available]
second as Bridgestone Potenza GIII.
