Please check if you have correctly done with the wiring. You can check if the faulty part is HID bulb by, simply disconnecting them and using the other ballast.

4300K is the best color to go. Anything beyond 6000K will simply get you struck in the rains. Above 6000K, everything is for show off. I prefer 4300K.[;)]

Going for aftermarket projector headlamps is not the way in my opinion. But, if you get a good set of aftermarket projector headlamps as Naveen got, then its good. But the best way to do a HID Projector conversion is to do the retrofit. Retrofits, even though expensive, they are well worth for every penny spend.[:)]

Hi, I can help you out with i20 projector conversion.[cheers]

For the problems A to C, I have a strong feeling that your stalk might be the faulty thing. I too have had the same problem, but not in this frequency.
Do check your OEM headlamp fuses situated at the engine room. If the fuse is still maintained at 10amps to 15amps, I would suggest you to use the 25amps fuse.

If the problem persist, disconnect the HID and see if you are facing the same problem using the Halogens.

With regard to manual adjustment of headlamp, open the hood and you will see two screws that hold the headlamp reflector in the headlight. take a * screw driver and turn it to achieve the required position. Remember to keep the headlamp leveler to the 2nd positon or 3rd before doing this, you may need to change levels upon conditions.

Hope this helps![:)]

First of all thanks for a quick reply buddy.

I didnt understand what is meant by STALK in your comment.

Secondly halogens were working fine till the day before the installation; except the beam adjustment problem.

Thirdly; I am finding those two screws from a year or so; but till now I am unable to find it. Do you have any pics for reference. I have a Swift DZire 2008.

Thanks

The screws are at the back side of the headlamp. I dont have the pic of swift. But I think you will have to look it deep inside. It should be there anyhow![surprise]

Yes, the passenger side is the most irritating part. May be you will have to remove the headlamp and do the adjustments. Simply screw it clockwise and anti clock wise for adjusting. But its a trial and error method. The screws wont get into the passenger side unless you have really small screw drivers![frustration]

I sorted out the HID issue. Now it is working fine. Also the beams have been adjusted. Thanks Naveen and Xenonpro for the valuable interaction![:D]
Pics will come soon!

Yes you are correct; the focus of left Headlight was messed up and I have at least tried to bring it in some good level. Or may be because of the wall on the right side it is looking awkward?[confused]

Thanks Akash. The results are much better than the OE headlights.

Hey thanks Dhaya!! Well thats the main confusion here. According to the box and the bulb markings it is 6000K; but i am still confused with the colour. Some hid's 6000K is different than the others. My bikes bulb marking says 10000K; but I find it just above 6000K.[roll]

@Gears1313, Even i agree that 25K is a lot. Can you suggest some shops i can check out in mumbai.

I got the quote of 17K from "Popular Tyres & Accessories" address is below. Also he wont give me a completely new headlight, he will only retro-fit the projectors in my existing headlight assembly.

Hey buddy,
why dont you go for quality lighting setup with complete OEM setup for 24,500INR? Denso ballast, 85122+ philips bulb, and all the bells and whistles you can ask for.

Going for projector setup in my opinion is to go a quality way with oem components.
