I don't think I need to mention the reason for creating this topic. Let's discuss about the various security accessories that we have installed in our rides. After the recent theft, I am considering to get a quarter glass grille, fuel cut off switch, central locking as well as a fire extinguisher.

I have installed only anti-theft alarm system as an additional security feature!! It works well , my car is rarely parked in unknown places so i guess this is enough!! Its either parked in my home or college mostly which are safe enough!

I've installed a Minda Huf remote locking unit on my Siena. I always remove the stereo face when I park in an unknown area. Also I don't leave any bags on the seats but lock them in the boot when the car is parked.

An autocop guarding the doors and ignition systems. Placed the rear door switched which do not come in marina , esp for security reason.

No specific guard for head unit , though i dont remove its face when i park.

Fire extinguisher , though we sell i advise only if yours is running on lpg go for that. hat too is not needed. Just a safety precaution.

A brand new xeta came without fire extinguisher to the store. (Tata dealers have made a theft?)

Best is vehicle tracking system. Useful for private owners ONLY when the car is stolen.

Hey 350Z but you said you will be buying a new car soon , so why you want to spend on your 800 now??

I guess central-locking and remote locking is good enough for now considering your new car soon!

Right now no idea about the vehicle tracking system. A sales representative came very long back to store , we shoo him away hehe

I'll get u soon.

Advance remote security model must have fuel cut off system , same as folled by icats , used in maruti.

Normal ones are engine immobilisers.

Investing these in your 800 which is gonna be sold soon - not worth.
