Iridium plugs are only needed if you are running NOS and are dumping fuel into the engine. They are very expensive. For eg a platinum plug for the M800 costs 200 while the Iridium one costs Rs650.
I have used NGK Gpower(platinum) and NGK Iridium IX and have not found any difference. To get benefits out of Iridium, you need blaster coils and you need good HT cables.
Thanks jarpickle for the explanation i will consider getting a platinum plug instead of iridium. can you share the details of platinum plug like brand , cost, power output, heat range, spark range etc. Regards.
According to the NGK India website the platinum plug for your DIO is CR6HGP.
I could not find any specs for it.
The Iridium one is CR6HIX.The specs for these are available on the US website

I did a comparison between my Platinum and Iridium spark plugs and the only difference was the gap.The Iridium has lower gap compared to the Platinum one.You will need to adjust the gap anyway, check your owners manual for the same.
I am not sure if you get a full FFE for a DIO, but as long as you drive normally even with an FFE there won't be any reduction in your FE.If you rev the engine hard to get the sound, your FE will drop.
