Exhaust Muffler For Diesel Car

Hello friends i own Etios liva Gd and want to install exhaust muffler but getting confused, i searched on internet about the same but its showing its not worth to install muffler on diesel car. so guys need ur help please advise is it possible to install the same and if can so is there any kind of special muffler for diesel car.

Normally, exhausts like Free Flow Exhausts (FFE) are installed on Petrol cars because of the linear power delivery and growl. Even diesel cars has got FFE but its a bit rare. Most people make their diesel vehicles as stock as possible.
I don't know whether there is any harm doing so.

The one in the picture u hav shown is just the end exhaust fitting in a petrol car it might give some sound but in a diesel its of no use. I had spoken to the Exhaust experts about fitting a whole frre flow system but he told me its of no use as it might improve the performance butwont give any sound.
But i have heard a Range Rover TD V8 Fitted with an exhast and sounded great but never had a chance to speak wid d owner.
