Nice find, Visran. Toyota also offers such seat (Known as ‘Easy Seat’) as official accessory for Altis. It’s sure a useful feature. They demonstrated it on 2012 Auto Expo.

Wow wonderful product and accesory

Reminded me of the Complete Hydraulic Unit for challenged passengers that they have installed on all Public Transport Buses in Brasil

This system is for challenged passengers to alight / depart the bus from the middle door using a combination of the system on the bus + the passenger's wheelchair

The Bus driver operates this Hydraulic system using a remote control unit and the platform is lowered to the level of the footpath and again gets raised into the Bus

Takes a long time to complete the cycle (almost 5 mins), but the Traffic discipine and Traffic awareness is so high here that nobody including fellow passengers as well as the cars and buses behind start honking

Even if it cretaes a mini traffic jam behind the bus, the people are extremely cooperative and well behaved
