Gautam Singhania of Super Car Club at Leh-Ladakh Expedition 2012 with Quattro Drive team: Audi Q3/Q5/Q7 and Mercedes Benz ML & GL class.

Gautam Singhania, better known as Chairman, and Managing Director of Raymond Group embarked on a Leh-Ladakh expedition, late in August. The connection can obviously be made in the fact that he is the founder of the Super Car Club of India, which was initiated by him in 2009. Omar Abdullah Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Ravi Shashtri, Audi India Head Michael Perschke, along with Mr Singhania amongst others took on the adventures of the Quattro Drive from Srinagar to Leh organised by the Super Car Club.
The Quattro Drive team traversed through Srinagar, Kargil, onward to Leh. From there on the drive surrounding regions Pangyong Lake, Nubra Valley, , Warilla and Khardung La in an assortment of 9 SUVs. This fleet of vehicles comprised of the Audi India Q3/Q5/Q7 class. Covering the distance on this treacherous and scenic terrain in India, that most would want to undertake at some point.

The drive saw Gautam Singhania join Twitter, with his handle being @SinghaniaGautam. Here he will not only connect with his fans but will also give regular updates of his adventures in the hills of North India besides information of Raymond Group and his love for super cars. The Leh-Ladakh Expedition 2012 was held between 20th to 26th August, 2012. The Super Car Club event also saw Gautam Singhania drive the Mercedes Benz ML and GL class. At Leh, the team even bumped into Shah Rukh Khan at the The Grand Dragon Ladakh hotel who was filming there for his next movie along with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Kapoor.
