It was just an amazing experience, which can't be expressed in words
, didn't expect Toyota to organise a 4WD boot camp in Bangalore in spite of its huge success and a long wait period may be the pressure from its rivals (X1,Santa FE and others) it was a very well organised and professional event in association with Autocar, the event did make me feel a premium car buyer, the hospitality of the event was very much pleasing.
Now coming to my Fortuner, the event did help me to show its full potential it may be or may note be a hard core off roader like a Jeep but I don't want to do a hard core off roading
with my Rs.25 lakh investment. The experience of using the 4WD low is very addictive. The terrain was very well planned with some steep inclines, declines, axle twisters, tilts and the slush. Driving through them was just AWESOME!
Couldn't click any pics of my car in action, but here are few pics will upload some more by tomorrow
I was the last one out of the only seven participants on saturday morning batch but all the other three batches were HOUSE FULL.
The convoy from 9th Mile Dhaba Royal Orchids to Sammy's Dream Land
At the axle twisters, during the demo to the participants
Toyota's demo car, which was totally ripped by everybody.
The demo tracks' incline
Demo track again
After the event, I did around 3 laps, but there were others who were so excited and went around for 6-8 laps
Here is a video, found it on Youtube
